The 2018 September Minnesota Race Calendar
It’s a little early to wish for falling leaves and pumpkin spice baked goods, but it’s not too soon to start planning your September 2018 race calendar!
Typically, September in Minneapolis is all about gearing up for the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon or TC 10 Mile. It’s a great time to test your fitness and prepare for bigger fall races, especially popular big-city marathons such as Twin Cities, Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia. (Of course, you don’t need to travel for a great marathon experience! Two of our favorite fall marathons are listed in our featured events.)
There’s no bad race distance in September when the air begins to get crisp and the daylight sinks. Cooler temperatures often yield faster race times and are a welcome change from the heat and humidity of July and August. Whether you’re seeking a 5K, 10K, half marathon, or longer distance, you’ll find it in Minnesota in September!
Check out all of the upcoming races in September as well as our Featured Events below.
