The August 2018 Minnesota Race Calendar
It’s August! The sticky, sweltering, summer month that brings us that much closer to cooler temps and the Minnesota State Fair. We have a love and hate relationship with the end of summer; we are relieved to see the heat and humidity go but are somehow sad at the same time.
Whether you have spent spring and summer building your base, working on strength training, or running fast, August is the perfect time to get racing. Grab 6-12 of your friends and race Ragnar Great River, run for state pride at the Gopher to Badger, or try something new at the first annual Running the Rapids Half Marathon. Whatever the race or distance, you’ll find it in August!
